Bellus Islands

The Bellus Islands are used for more aquatic based training, surrounded by water on all sides, as well as covered in various lakes and rivers, it’s the perfect area for those who want to work on their abilities with the element of water. The Islands are also heavily populated with plant and wildlife, making sustenance available for long-term training

He had arrived at the training grounds and immediately they were thrust into battle with their own sensei. He didn't have much time before the attack was on, a kunai knife thrown aimed directly for him specifically the neck of his body he bent his knees and dropped down as the kunai glided over his form and to somewhere behind him where he honestly didn't care. His emerald eyes rested upon the sensei that stood a few feet off silence remained between him and Kazumi, he still simply watched his hands slipping beneath the cloak to rest upon the hilt of both the longswords his eyes watching Adrani, he knew that Haku had to be here somewhere in this area but he did not have the time or means to look right now. His feet pushed him back to a standing position to gaze upon the sensei that stood before them Blaze kept his eyes on him before he darted forward for Adrani. He drew one of the blades from its sheathe and swung it up from the sheathe keeping the blade at a diagonal angle as it swung for Adrani.

Adrani-sensei? But he was just...

Chakra surrounded her two hands the moment she sensed Adrani near her. But she'd been keeping track of his whereabouts. Before they gathered here, Adrani had been talking to the Mizukage. And where was Haku? Nothing was adding up in her head, but she couldn't let her mind wander. The main issue here seemed to be that her sensei was attacking his students, specifically one of them, while another was missing. She trusted that Blaze would be able to handle the situation for a moment while she looked for Haku. Her body disappeared, mixing with the already existing mist surrounding the islands. If this was their sensei's way of working on their teamwork, then she had to make sure that the entire team was present, otherwise, there was a good chance things would end very badly for them.

Disappointing... Test number one and these damned kids were off to a horrible start. Adrani jumped up, landing on the blade and forcing it to the ground. The atmosphere in the area quickly became cold, and the air thin, making it difficult to breath, and near impossible to keep up a flame. Then a small needle darted for the boy's neck in the perfect spot to put him into a state of false death for about five minutes.

A few yards away, Kazumi would find Haku laid out on the ground, brutally wounded and barely conscious. His breath was shallow and his eyes could barely open. Blood spouted from his mouth as he coughed, and it was evident that he would be of no use. "Where's Blaze?" That's right?! What about her other partner? She had abandonned him without so much as a signal? What had they bothered to learn the communication method for? What would Blaze's condition be by the time she could return to his side? It seemed this team could come to an end before it ever truly came together...

(anyone else find it strange that the chinese girl is always speaking japanese to us?)

The thin air quickly had it's effect on Blaze, making it hard for him to breath, and blurring his vision slightly. He coughed, and stumbled forward, stumbling forward slightly. When Kazumi arrived, behind him he atempted to stop her from approaching, but there was nothing he could do. Luckily, she took off in search of their missing partner. But before he could do a thing, the needles hit the side of his neck, and he hit the ground, needles still stuck in his skin and a few drops of blood dripping down to the ground...

Kazumi bit the inside of her cheek. She thought that Blaze would be able to give her just one minute to look for Haku. That's all it would have taken. Less than a minute, and she was standing before Haku, but now Blaze was down for the count. There wasn't any time to think about the situation. She needed a fully functioning group. She couldn't stand up to Adrani on her own and she wasn't going to let her mistake cost them... She split her body in half. One half stayed with Haku, immediately starting to heal him while her other half dispersed and went to Blaze, removing the needle and rousing him from his false death. This move split her strength cleanly in half, but it wouldn't matter unless Adrani attacked her right at that moment.

"Failure." One word, many meanings. On a mission it could mean certain death for the Team and any they may have been assigned to protect. but in this case, it meaned that the group had not performed adequately enough to survive training under Adrani. The figure that was Haku poofed away as Kazumi attempted to heal it, and Adrani turned into Haku. Kazumi, what makes you think any of us could last a minute against Adrani alone? His specialty is stealth killing. We can never be alone, and we can never be taken by surprise." He watched as she removed the needles from the side of Blaze's neck. It would take a couple minutes for him to recover. "The Mizukage is probably still lecturing Adrani for trying to kill us, but that doesn't mean he won't do it again if we don't meet his expectations. We have to improve, both individually, and as a team. I have a lot of training methods we can do, but we're going to have to be dedicated to surviving if we're going to make it..."
